It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elayne Ruth Sapers Lofchie (Sinai, South Dakota), who passed away on March 20, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Alfred Greenfield; and also Bennett "Barish" Lofchie. She is survived by: her former husband Barish; her children, Rabbi Donna Adler (Rabbi Bruce Adler) and Amy Rassen; her grandchildren, Jeremy Rassen (Greg Rassen), Elisa Rassen and Aaron Adler; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Rassen and Sylvia Rassen; and her brother Merton Sapers (Fran Sapers). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
