We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2021, at the age of 71, Rick R. Hoefert of Seneca, South Dakota, born in Faulkton, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hoefert and Gladys L. Hoefert (Swenson); his son Eric Hoefert; his sister Barbara Pins; and his nephews, Jeffery and Jared Bitzer.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Kilber of Seneca; his brother-in-law Jim; his daughter Gwen Larson (Brent) of White, SD; his grandchildren, Brianna and Cody Larson; his son Nathan Hoefert (Melisa); his brother-in-law Pat Pins of Mandan, ND; and his siblings, Kirk Hoefert (Sheila) and Kathryn Bitzer (James). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be directed to Oakland Cemetery, 201 Elm St, Seneca, SD 57473 or a local charity of your choice.
