He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Starks; his stepmother Eileen; his daughter-in-law Alma; his grandson-in-law Troy; his great grandchild Alexys; and his siblings, Bud, Rex, Gene, Ronald, Gary, Richard, Gayl, Blodwyn, Corrine and Bernice.
He is survived by: his sons, Nick (Linda) of Pierre, Kevin (Peggy) of Redfield and Loren (Lisa) of Seneca; his brother Boyd; his sisters-in-law, Marie Starks and Sharon Roseland; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Cara, Erik, Greg, Sarah, Michelle, Angela and Chris. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
