He was predeceased by: his wife DorisMae Coles Salem; his siblings, Dr. Harold Salem, Dr. Calvin Salem and Mary Louise Freed; and his parents, Mike Salem and Clara Salem.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Salem of Glenham, Ellen Salem of Denver and Karen Salem (Andrew Kaczrowski) of Alexandria, Minnesota; and his brother Stephen Salem (Hilda) of Buenos Aires, Argentina.. He is also survived by friends and relatives.
