Norman Thorstenson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Thorstenson of Selby, South Dakota, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Thorstenson and Ida Thorstenson (Andersen); his wife Marcella "Sally" Eisemann; his sons, Albert and David; his great grandchild Adam; and his siblings, Margaret Dance, Calvin and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Thorstenson, Leslie Thorstenson (Carlotta), Trent Thorstenson (Bill), Rory Thorstenson (Linda), Deserae Simons (Scott) and Tone Thorstenson; his son-in-law Danny Coonrod; his great grandchildren, Taeh Holt (Greg) and Dane Thorstenson (Mariah); his children, Remi, Rayne, Darson Thorstenson, Rocklynn, Amina, Jeromy Thorstenson (Dawn), Taryn, Taylor, Teagan, Casey Thorstenson (Britney), Courtney and Melissa Green; his grandchildren, Rain, Alex, Arya and Krista Hansen (Chris); his son Austin Simons (Susie); his grandchildren, Ali, Mia, Parker Simons (Sarah) and Daniel Coonrod (Kamra); his child Bexley; and his brother Lawrence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Because Norman was civic minded in lieu of flowers the family requests memorials directed to the Bethlehem Cemetery, Walworth County Care Center, Selby Lions Club, Selby Ambulance, Hiddenwood Sportmen's Club or the Lake Hiddenwood Foundation.
