She was predeceased by: her father Edward Goehring; her husband Kenneth Kightlinger (Bud); her daughter-in-law Mynna Boodhoo Kightlinger; her grandchildren, Dain Gardner and Carter Lux; her mother Lydia Goehring (Salzer); her stepfather Ed Schuetzle; her siblings, Ted, Edwin, Ervin, Ray Goehring and Shirley Erdahl; her mother-in-law Adelia Kightlinger; and her siblings-in-law, Homer, Clayton, Orval Kightlinger, Sid Erdahl, George Anderson, Ray McKitrick, Seth Garret, Arnold Hanson, Mary, Ruby, Lenora, Bernice Goehring, Eileen, Elna, Helen, Dorothy, Pearl, Genny and Ardella Kightlinger.

She is survived by: her son Lon Kightlinger; her grandson Andrew Kightlinger; her son Dale (Colleen Kightlinger); her grandchildren, Derek, Roberta Kightlinger, Brienna Kightlinger and Kiera Kightlinger; her great grandchildren, Izzy and Zander; her children, Kim Kightlinger, Faye Kightlinger and Lois (Brian Lux); her grandchildren, Tanner, Alyssa Lux and Spencer Lux; her great grandchildren, Norah, Emmitt and Rowdy; her daughter Mary (Ron Gardner); her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brian Robertson, Miles, Courtney Gardner and Preston Gardner; and her great grandchildren, Kasen, Harper, Payton, Marek, McCall, Mason and Jaycee.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (3205 5th Ave, Selby, SD 57472). A prayer was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations for a memorial may be given.
