He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter Glerup and Nicholena Farstad Glerup; his stepmother Blanche; his siblings, Donald (Tex), Robert (Red), Edwin and Agnes Brockel; and his grandchildren, Katheryn Glerup and Dakota Jordan.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Kimberly Markley (Gary) of Mandan, ND, Amber Landis (Alan) of Mobridge, SD and Donovan Glerup (Melissa) of Selby, SD; his grandchildren, Joshua Fleming, Eric Fleming, Morgan Markley, MaKenna Esry, Cayden Glerup and Caden Mudge-Glerup; his great grandchildren, Sloane Kelly and McNamara Fleming; and his brother Melvin Glerup.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Skip's honor to the Frederick Schauer Legion Post 100, Selby Ambulance and Fire Department or Saint John Lutheran Church in Selby.
