He is survived by: his nephews, Gerard Spielhagen (Frances) and Bernard Spielhagen (Lana); his niece Fredrica Spielhagen Quilla (Thomas); his cousin Charles Pravecek (Kathleen) of Scotland; and his grandchildren, Frank, Brandi Pravecek and Barbara Pravecek Murphy.
