He is survived by: his children, Todd Schaefer (Kayleen) of Saginaw, TX, Tracy Chambers (Wes) of Yankton, SD and David Schaefer (Lisa) of Brookings, SD; his grandchildren, Savannah (Dalton), Connor (Kate), Audrey, Emily, Lauren, Brayden, Isabella, Emma and Caitlyn (Matty); his great grandchild Dominic; his siblings, Shirley Jurrens (Keith) of Shelby, NE and Larry Schaefer of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Elois Schaefer of Minnesota and Agnes Winckler of Tyndall.
