It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerald Glenn Nelson of Scotland, South Dakota, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Nelson and Kathleen Nelson (Bainbridge); his brother David Nelson; and his sister-in-law Karen Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sisters, Jeanette Lisbeth (John), Marlys Wasmund (Don) and Mary Lingberg (Rick); his stepchildren, Mark Brown, Carrie Kruger (Troy), Craig Brown and Gary Brown Jr. (Holly); his stepgrandchildren, Carly, Cassidy, Katie and Allie; his stepgreat-grandson Sawyer; and his nieces and nephews, Sara, Kristine, Heather, Terese, Julie, Katherine, Adam, Josh, Jeff and Matthew.
Jerry's personal wish will be granted, that his body be donated to the University of South Dakota Body. Donation Program for the education of health care professionals.
