She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Schortzman; her parents, Fred Zeeb and Hilda Zeeb; her parents-in-law, Julius and Martha Schortzman; her son Merit Schortzman; her grandson Bronson Miller; her brother Marvin; her siblings-in-law, Pete, Irene Zeeb and Kenneth Christensen; and her nephews, Mark and Max Zeeb.
She is survived by: her sons, Mel Schortzman (Linda) of Clark, SD and Roger Schortzman (Marilyn) of Lesterville, SD; her daughter-in-law Dianne Schortzman of Scotland, SD; her grandchildren, Amy Teply, Cory Schortzman, Jason Schortzman, Buford Miller, Bret Schortzman, Jared Schortzman, Melissa Eickman, Kristie Eimers and Holly Fuerst; her sister Vivian Gall (Vernon) of Lesterville, SD; and her sister-in-law Norma Christensen of Yankton, SD. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
