He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Adolph Mogck and Lillian Mogck (Schlechter); his wife Leona J. Walter; and his siblings, Oliver Mogck and Darlene Pearson.
He is survived by: his sons, Dean Mogck (Patty) and Charles Mogck (LeAndra); his grandchildren, Nicole Bowen (Dan), Kyle Mogck (Christy), Dalton Mogck (Marissa), Hannah Mogck (Nolan Welker), Christina Winckler (Logan), Chase Mogck (Kayla Neugebauer) and Ty Mogck (Hilary Albrecht); his great grandchildren, Rowdy, McCoy, Nash, Tynlee, Wyatt, Willow, Hayes and Maggie; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Mogck, Carney Walter (Betty) and Ervin Ortmann. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scotland Community Church (350 Williams St, Scotland, SD 57059). A prayer was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Rosehill Cemetery.
