He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Diede and Anita Diede (Schatz); his father-in-law Dale Bartlett; his nephews, Michael George Conrad, Rodger Michael Diede and Kurt Lewis Nelson; his granddaughter Avalee Scott DeVries; and his brother-in-law Ronald Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Jo Bartlett; his children, Sally Jo, Whitney Anita, Jared Andrew, Chandler Owen, Sally Bueber (Andrew), Whitney DeVries, Jared Diede, Chandler Diede (Taylor) and Toby DeVries; his grandchildren, Sutton, Owen, Deacon Bueber, Maddox, Jackson, Emerson and Lennon DeVries; his siblings, Karen Conrad (Charles) and Roger Diede (Jan); his mother-in-law JoAnn Bartlett; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Bartlett (Teresa), Roger Bartlett (Vicky), Janice VerMulm (Buck), Cyndi Nelson and Doris Tompkins (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
