She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert "John" Eggers and Elsie Eggers (Kobernusz); her son Kevin; and her siblings, Marna Dahmen, Lyle Eggers, Linda Hoenscheid and Frances Kniep.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Nelson of Salem; her son Brian Nelson (Laura) of Salem; her grandchildren, Matt Nelson (Tara) and Melissa Nelson of Salem; her sister Nancy Eggers; and also Trig Nelson of Arlington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
