He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Blindert and Meta Blindert; his brother Jerry; and his great-nephew Noah Tolsma. He is survived by: his stepmother Genevieve Blindert of Salem; his brothers, Craig (Glenda) of Salem and Scott of Salem; his sister-in-law Karla Blindert of Salem; his stepsisters, Barb Strom (Steve) of Madison and Kathy Steece (Pat) of Platte City, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Bridget, Luke, Josh, Stacey, Kayla, Zach, Ben and Dominic. He is also survived by cousins and other relatives.
