He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Wells and Isabella Wells (Sorenson); his sister Linda Thorson; and also, Jerilyn Miller, Connie Sittig and Ronald Kittelson.

He is survived by: his close friend Carol Cassidy; his nephews, Scott Thorson (Ann) and Chris Thorson (Jerrice); his niece Kimberly Laasch (Greg); his pet Matti; and also, Jerry Cassidy (Allisha), Michael Cassidy (Jackie) and Kelly Rademacher (John). He is also survived by his 9 great-nephews and nieces.
