She was predeceased by: her husband James Schartz; her daughter Cindy Griffin; her son-in-law Buck Griffin; her siblings, Janice Morrison and William Morrison; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Sandgren, Greta Stone, Donnabelle Schartz, Shirley Morrison, Leo Herdina, Leo Schartz, Arthur Sandgren, E. Wallace Stone and Edward Schartz.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Hanisch (Gerald) of Salem, SD, Nick Schartz (LaNita) of Humboldt, SD, Deanna Kunkel (Brian) of Humboldt, SD, Frank Schartz (Ann) of Humboldt, SD and Lynn Schartz (Dean Munce) of Hartford, SD.; her siblings, James Morrison and Betty Morrison of Sioux Falls, SD; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Schartz of Hartford, SD, Guriene Schartz of Rapid City, SD and Avis Herdina of Rapid City, SD. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and numerous dear friends.
