She was predeceased by: her adoptive father Joseph (Leona Wahle); her parents, Joseph Wahle and Leona Wahle; her brother Vearl; her sons, Daniel and Ronald; and her daughter-in-law Jean (David).
She is survived by: her husband Harold Stiefvater of Salem, SD.; her sons, David of Salem, Bob (Connie), Brad Salem (Jill), Nick and Ken; and her stepdaughters, Nannette, Kathy and Mary. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family will be making a memorial donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
