He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Willard, Sr. and Sophie Peterson (Brandon); his brother Udell; his sister-in-law Janella; and his son-in-law Joe Gapp.
He is survived by: his former wife Alice Sorensen; his spouse Marn Garry (Hipschman); his children, Cheryl of Yankton, Jeanine of Colorado Springs, CO, Brenda (Kevin) of Pierre, Jerry (Bonnie) of Yankton, Todd (Teresa) of Sioux Falls, Kim of Salem, Jeff (Trish) of Dell Rapids and Lisa of Salem; and his brother Gaylord (Judy) of Canon City, CO.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
