He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kurth and Myrtle Kurth (Thomas); his wife Mildred Schultz; and his brother Verle Kurth. He is survived by: his daughter Denise of Salem; his brother Jerry Kurth (Connie) of Bridgewater; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Kurth of Mitchell, Alice Schmeichel of Bridgewater and Elnora Unruh (Ron) of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
