He was predeceased by: his parents, August Speck and Esther Speck (Hall); his son Gary; and his siblings, Doris Thompson, Eleanor Thompson, Marvin Speck and Donald Speck.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Mular; his children, Robert A. Speck, Patricia Moriarty (Robert) and Susan Speck; his granddaughters, Jennifer and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Haley, Dylan, Griffen and James; and his sister Lorraine Mayer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
