We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2024, at the age of 103, Thelma Monshaugen of Roslyn, South Dakota, born in Ramona, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Thelma leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Thelma may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rovang and Elma Rovang (Rubel); her husband Alfred Monshaugen; and her siblings, Arlene Carlson, Winnifred Opsahl, Lavonne Peterson, Donald and Wesley Rovang.
She is survived by: her children, Ramona Wold of Fridley, MN, Wes Monshaugen of Roslyn, SD, Carole Randall (Troy) of St. Johns, FL and Lois Dow (Craig) of Arlington, TX. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
