He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Wagner and Vanda Wagner (Christensen); his stepmother Jackie Wagner; and his brothers, Allen and Loren Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Samson; his children, Beth Sundberg (Nate), Emmy, Austin of Plymouth, MN, Jessica Kjenstad (Al), Ethan, Abby, Isaac, Abe of Aberdeen, SD and Joshua Wagner of Roslyn, SD; and his siblings, Cheryl Dwight (Jay) of Langford, SD, Marilyn Vietor (Jim) of Pierre, SD and Terry Wagner (Patty) of Roslyn, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fiksdal Funeral Service (122 W 5th Ave, Webster, SD 57274). A prayer was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the FIKSDAL FUNERAL SERVICE (122 W 5th Ave, Webster, SD 57274). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (820 Main St, Webster, SD 57274).
