With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Orell Yost (Rosholt, South Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Yost and Caroline Yost (Pistorius); his wife Kathy of Anthony's Catholic Church; his siblings, Gary Yost and Gladys Kuschel; and his in-laws, Jerry "Spud" Serocki, Joe Serocki and Bob Serocki.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Yost (Michelle) of Wheaton, Connie Wellnitz (Milo) of Sisseton and Christy Yost Fletcher of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Parker Yost (Olivia), Shayna Yost (Ben Findlay), Howard Herberg (Stephanie), Casey Herberg (Bethany), Danielle Herberg, Victor Herberg and Vincent Herberg; his great grandchildren, Weston Yost, Carly, Karina, Brantley, Harper, Lillian, Patricia and Haisley Herberg; his sister DiAnn Madsen (Eddie) of Rosholt; and his in-laws, Gloria Serocki, Sylvia Serocki, Franny, Lawrence Renelt, Pat, Leon Westbrock, Paul, Kathy Serocki, Mary "Toots" Beyl and Patsy Serocki.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eggers Funeral Home (2 W Main St, Rosholt, SD 57260).
