He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Yost and Beverly Yost; his sister Colletta Heald; and his grandparents, John, Hazel Oliver and Emma Yost.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie (Fladland); his children, Kristin Yost (Neeki Bey) of Frisco, TX and Lindsay (Tim Gleason) of New Effington; his grandchildren, Olivia and Jay Bartnick; and his brother Delwin Yost (Sue) of Mobridge.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, a small family memorial service and burial will be held at the family farm.
