He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Kempton and Evelyn Kempton (Ellingson); and his half-brother Royce Kempton. He is survived by: his brother Kim; his sister-in-law Marcia Kempton of Rosholt; and his nieces and nephews, David, Chuck, Gary, Christopher, Sara, Heidi and Ashley.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethania Lutheran Church (9 1st St, Rosholt, SD 57260). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
