Anetis Pohl Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anetis Pohl of Rosholt, South Dakota, born in Hankinson, North Dakota, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hartleben and Ottilie Hartleben (Medenwaldt); her husband Harold Pohl; her siblings, Randy, Earl Hartleben and Darlene Baker; and her daughter-in-law Bernadette Pohl.

She is survived by: her children, Steve, Gerry, Sue, Jeanne, Greg, Dennis, Curt, Doug, Kristi, Donovan and Marti; her siblings, Marcy Lees of Wahpeton, ND, Joyce Polansky (Leonard) of Aurora, MN, Dean Hartleben (Audrey) of Hankinson, ND and Dale Hartleben (Barb) of Barnsville, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Carole Lick (Ron) of Rosholt and Marlys Ladwig of Fargo, ND.. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 4 step great grandchildren.

Family is requesting masks be worn and social distancing observed at all gatherings.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be directed to the Rosholt Ambulance Fund or St. John's Catholic Church.
