He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Scherr and Theresa Scherr (Reinbold); his siblings, Joe, Leonard, Kasper, Rosemary Kocher, Barbara Hoerner and Genevieve Creager; his brothers-in-law, Pete Kocher, Ray Hoerner, Marvin Uhrich and Mark Creager; and his great grandchildren, Paul Riley Binfet and Michael Francis Hoyle.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Ehnes; and his children, Leonard, Virgil (Dotty), Neil, Noreen Glodt (Dan), Lori Ann Arbach (Bill), Steven (Kris), Loretta Binfet (Paul) and Carol Ann Fonder (Jim).
