He was predeceased by: his parents, August Sanger and Lillian Sanger (Buchholz); his siblings-in-law, Juanita Sanger and Robert Slunecka; and his niece Christine Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sanger (Morris) of Redfield; his children, Dennis Sanger (Arleen) of Rockham, Mike Sanger (Cindy) of Redfield, Mardelle Hoch (Randy) of Lewistown Montana and Jenelle Schempp (Jaimey) of Alcester, SD.; his brother Duane Sanger of Redfield; and his sister-in-law Doris Slunecka of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
