He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brende Jr. (LaBelle) and LaBelle; his brother-in-law Pierce Wilson; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Eleanora Austin; his uncle Donald; and his aunts, Barbara Marquart and Karen Pierret.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Brende of Renner, SD; his children, Jordan Brende of Sioux Falls, SD, Evan Brende of Lincoln, NE, Ethan Brende of Sioux Falls, SD and Jenna Brende of Lincoln, NE; his siblings, Shawn Wilson, Shanna Brende and Brett Brende (Kelly); and his nephews, Asher Hoberg (Madde), Austin, Noah and Cooper Brende.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Scott's name to the Renner Lutheran Church.
