He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Sr. Hoek and Nellie Hoek (Wobbema); his siblings, Betty Shultis (Ronald), Emma Goos (Roy) and Marvin "Bud" Hoek (Marie); and his great great grandchild Kaycen Carter Hoek.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Doblar; his children, Connie France (Rex) of Rushmore, MN and Randy Hoek (Laurie) of Brandon, SD; his grandchildren, Dale Papka (Barbara), Troy Hoek (Melissa) and Nikki Reiter (Joe); his great grandchildren, Taylor Hoek (Shantaveous), Dylan Hoek (Sarah), Wyatt Papka, Jackson Reiter, Sydney Papka, Zach Marks and Alicia Marks; and his great great grandchildren, Paisley, Bentley and Brycen.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to Wesley United Methodist Church and the Salvation Army.
