He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hansen and Helen Hansen (Mack); and his sister Beverly (Ralph Hadley). He is survived by: his daughter Mavis; his wife Mavis Larsen; his children, Todd (Nancy), J. D. (Becky), Dustin (Kevin) and Yvette DuVall (Darrel); his siblings, John Hansen (Connie) and Debra Kallestad (Newell); his grandchildren, Spencer, Aspen, Kassidy, Grace, Dean, Selah, Morgan, Brayten and Sawyer; his stepgranddaughter Terri; his great grandchildren, Quentin, Wilder, Adeline, Emilia and Delthea; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Quincy and Samantha.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (314 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325). A prayer was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
