It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Edna E. Schelske of Reliance, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 96, on April 14, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Edna's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Edna has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Wagaman and Magdeline Wagaman (Fry); and her husband Alfred Schelske. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannie Wolcott (Lenny), Kathy Randall (Bill), Nancy Larsen (Steve), Deb Volmer (Ron) and Laurie Michels (Steve).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Chapel (215 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325). A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (100 5th St, Reliance, SD 57569).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
