He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Schmitt and Dorothy Schmitt. He is survived by: his children, Angela Schmitt (Postma), Derrick Schmitt, Brandon Schmitt, Jennifer Edwards, Desa Cadwell, Elijia Falcon Hardman and Luticia Falcon; his grandchildren, Lilyn, Christopher, Juliana, Arianna, Maddox, Kayleigh, Scarlett, Aviannah, Kolsen, Gavin, Clay, Caden, Landon, Conner and Kaitlyn; and also, Gail, Steve Leheska, Dianne and Bruce Hanson (Donna Falcon).
A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Kennebec-Reliance American Legion Hall. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM.
