It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keith Barta of Ree Heights, South Dakota, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wences "Winnie" Anton Barta and Irene Dorothy Barta (Gerstner); his sister Joyce Lutovsky (Barta); his brother-in-law Luke Lutovsky; and his stepson Kristopher Buchele.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Barta (Hope) and Jennifer McClaren (John); his stepson Troy Tuel; his grandchildren, Allison Barta (Race Heitkamp), Ashton Turner (Derek), Mattyson Barta (Brandan Lee), Susannah "Frankie" McClaren and John McClaren III; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Buchele, Annellee Buchele, Taylor Tuel and Thomas Tuel; his stepgreat-grandchild Alena Buchele; and his former wives, Roberta Mohagen (Fair) and Debra Barta (Baltzell). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
