We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2020, at the age of 78, Joe Poindexter of Ree Heights, South Dakota, born in Big Spring, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Poindexter and Frances Poindexter (Clements); his parents-in-law, Ray and Gladys Rogers; and his grandparents, Joe, Minnie Poindexter, Wylie and Mattie Clements.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rogers of Ree Heights; his children, Janelle Jessen (Jon), Sydney, Sara of Ree Heights, Jolene Schall (JJ), Jordan, Jesse of Onida, Jennifer Runge (Mike), Briggs, Kagan of Ree Heights and Jay Poindexter (Arla) of Ree Heights; his sister Paula Spilde (Terry) of Highmore; his siblings-in-law, Orval Rogers (Millie) of Ree Heights and Betty Haetten of Halstead, Kansas; his aunt Sandra Poindexter; and his cousin Mike Clements (Carole). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
