He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Kumley (Ferguson) and Earl Kumley; his wife Elizabeth Kumley; his sons, Earl and Frank Kumley; and his siblings, Mary Schreier, Ira Kumley, Robert Kumley and John Kumley.
He is survived by: his children, Greta Wall of Redig, SD, Carol Smith (Ken), Betty Catalan of Laredo, TX, Edward Kumley (Leesa) of Rapid City, SD, Tina Barnes (David) of Yankton, SD, Allyn Waltz (Jeff) of Del Rapids, SD, Kathy Williams of Loveland, CO and Barbara Walter (Mark) of Clarinda, IA. He is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kline Funeral Chapel (838 State St, Belle Fourche, SD 57717). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (847 6th Ave, Belle Fourche, SD 57717).
