It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terrence Shantz of Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Shantz and Alvira Shantz (Deiter). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Schlegel; his daughters, Kandi Shantz (Joey Haskell) of Redfield, SD, Toni Glass (Devin) of Redfield, SD and Misti Shantz of Redfield, SD; his siblings, Loren Shantz (Holly) of Pierre, SD, Jerry Shantz (Marlene) of Pierre, SD, David Shantz (Eva) of Monticello, AR, Paul Shantz (Gleann) of Zell, SD and Maryann Pinard of Redfield, SD; his nephew River Ludemann; his grandchild Camdyn Binger; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Bernice Schlegel. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
