He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Vleet; and his sister-in-law Linda. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Van Vleet (Galvin) of Redfield; his former wife Sheila Hoffman; his brothers, Gary Van Vleet of Redfield, Rick Van Vleet (Patricia) of Huron, Tim Van Vleet of Redfield, Kurt Van Vleet of Redfield and Greg Van Vleet (Darla) of Bismarck, ND; and his close friends, Ben and Deb Marlow of Yankton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
