It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Appel of Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger Appel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Appel and Bertha Appel (Ecker); his wife Barbara; his son Antone Leo Appel; his son-in-law Delmer Love; and his grandson Benjamin Jorgenson.
He is survived by: his children, Suze (John Pokrassa) of Dallas, Texas, Donna (Kurtus Jorgenson) of Waubay, Sout Dakota, Mark (Gini) of Redfield, Pat (Sheila) of Redfield, Tim (Tabatha) of Black Hawk and Ross Appel of Redfield. He is also survived by his 26 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
