Richard Hoffart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Hoffart of Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Hoffart and Rose Hoffart (Goetz); his stepfather Gerald Ryman; his grandson Nathon Baus; and his siblings, Lamoyle Heilman, Larry, Sam and Jerry Ryman.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen of Redfield; his children, Roxanne Bell (Ronnie) of Caddo, OK, Karla Baus (Sean O'Brien) of Pierre, SD, Gene Hoffart (Laurel Viera) of Mankato, MN and Penny Swanson (Kenny) of Redfield; his grandchildren, Monica, Chasity, Amber, Brandi, Aaron, Tori, Erica, Aidan, Emily, Abby and Garret; his son-in-law Brian Baus of Pierre, SD.; and his sisters, Virginia Collett, Donna Huber, Carol Androli and Rosemary Martin. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
The Mass will be live-streamed from the church at 10:30 a. m. Masks and social distancing are recommended if attending.
