He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Benning and Betty Benning (Sievers); his sister Barbara Gauer; and his parents-in-law, Deloris and Eldon Quitsch.
He is survived by: his former wife Vicki Shaw; his daughter Nicole; his wife Kim Quitsch; his family, Derrick and Kory; his grandchildren, Khia, Kezrey and Blaze; his children, Nicki Cleveland (Patrick), Shawna Sengelmann (Joel), Derrick Quitsch and Kory Quitsch; and his siblings, Peggy Roseland (Kevin) and Steve Benning (Kris).
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to SPURS, Special Olympics SD, and Turtle Mountain Rescue Center.
