She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert "Bud" O'Day and Eileen O'Day (Nelson); her former spouse Thomas Stewart Jacobs; her husband James Jakeway; and her siblings, Jerry O'Day, Micheal O'Day, Patrick O'Day, Rose O'Day and Kathy Bellander.
She is survived by: her children, Kayleen Winterberg (Gerald Cadotte) of Mobridge, SD, Malinda Buranen (Steve) of Redfield and Jonathan Jacobs (Karen) of Redfield; and her siblings, Cindy Malsam (Greg) of Pierre, Ray O'Day (Karla) of Blunt, SD, Roy O'Day (Robin) of Pierre, SD and Wendy Peterson (Warren) of Hoven, SD. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
