He was predeceased by: his wife Ginny Stapp (Eidsness); his parents, Ted Stapp and Tillie Stapp; his sister Dorthea Schmidt; and his son-in-law Mark Muellenberg.

He is survived by: his significant other Ginny Eidsness; his daughters, Sheila Muellenberg of Redfield, SD, Brenda Schmidt (Terry) of Watertown, SD and Marty Kalkman (Steve) of Rapid City, SD.; his granddaughters, Heather Rude (Chris), Heidi Gehrke (Gabe), Michelle Poe (Shawn), Stephanie Stenstadvolden (Jan) and Kristina Kalkman; his great grandchildren, Ella Rude-Peterson, Brody, Grady Rude, Tillie, Jack Gehrke, Calista, Elise Poe, Anders, Owen Stenstadvolden, Lilly, Waverly Seale and Natalie White; his brother LaDell Stapp (Lani); and his sister-in-law Lois Stemper.

Memorials will go to the Future Farmers of America, Redfield United Methodist Church, and numerous other non-profits. No flowers are requested.
