He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Muellenberg and Elizabeth Muellenberg (Eschenbaum); his brothers, Wallace, Lavern, Richard and Donald; his granddaughter Sandra Werner; and his great grandchild Alice Dianne Oxley.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Debbie Rowden (John) of Wahpeton, ND, Denise Plecity (Jack) of Abercrombie, ND, Daniel Muellenberg of Redfield, Donna Byrum (Michael) of Redfield, Darcy Dykstra (Curt) of Redfield, Dean Muellenberg (Tim Kiser) of Gilbert, AZ and Deanna Muellenberg (Chuck Hagan) of Chamberlain, SD; his brother Gordon of Redfield; and his sister-in-law Helen Muellenberg of Redfield. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
