It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerold Bender (Redfield, South Dakota), born in Ipswich, South Dakota, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bender and Lenora Bender (Diede); his brother Milbert; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Erickson and Marlys Erickson.
He is survived by: his sons, Gordon (Libby) of Normal, IL and Warren (Heather) of Pickstown, SD.; his wife Lea Ann Erickson; his daughter Lynette Anderson (Scott) of Kinsley, KS; his grandchildren, Trenton, Macy, Callie Anderson, Sean Valere, Toby Bender, JeriAnn and Paetyn Bender; his siblings, Arlene Rall (Marvin) of Worthington, MN and John Bender (Jean) of Aberdeen, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Bender of Aberdeen, Kay Dumire (Jim) of Aberdeen, Ann Erickson of San Diego, CA and Art Erickson of Bryant, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
