He was predeceased by: his father John L. Porter. He is survived by: his wife Monica; his children, Christopher A. Porter, Nathaniel L. Porter, Chad Steffen, Timothy Steffen (Amanda) and Jessica M. Porter; his grandchildren, Piper and Owen Steffen; his mother Sandra Betts Porter (Betts); his siblings, Michael Porter, Paul Gaugush and Tamara Porter; his nephews, Kyle, Tyler Jenkins and Ryan Gaugush; and his niece Megan Gaugush.
Social distancing and masks are recommended at both the church and funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully prefers memorials to help with medical and funeral expenses.
