He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Albertson and Ruth Albertson; his siblings, Eleanor Travis, Roland, Wayne and Gerald; and his nephews, Robert Bisgaard and Lynn Albertson.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Flack Ackerman; his son Leslie Jay; his sisters, Robin and Betty Jo; his sons, Lynn and Les (Lisa); his granddaughter Paisley; his stepdaughters, Robin and Betty Jo; and his siblings, Frank Albertson and Charlean Swanson.
