He was predeceased by: his parents, Leif Solheim and Jennie Solheim (Bruins); his wife Vesta "Chick" Ida Gavette; his sons, Michael and Terry; his grandson Kraig; his brother-in-law Gene Reich; his brothers, Oscar (Bernice) and Marlin; and his brother-in-law Percy Benedict.
He is survived by: his daughter Penny Swope; his granddaughter Kristen Louwagie (Derek); his son Tony Solheim (Denise); his grandchildren, Stacy Wiest (BJ), April Wilke, Heather Zens (Randy) and Michael Solheim (Christine); and his sisters, Janet Reich and Janice Patterson (Robert). He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
