It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma (Tubandt) Ames of Redfield, South Dakota, born in Spink, South Dakota, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Tubandt and Olga Tubandt; her husband Robert Ames; her brother Floyd; her son-in-law David Oulman; and her grandson Derek Kieper.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Wright, Kathy Johnson (Dave), Daryl Ames (Paula), Tammy Morgan (Chuck) and Lindy Gatewood (Carlo); and her siblings-in-law, Wendell Ames (Betty) and Dores Tubandt. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
